Please Attend the Upcoming Meetings with the School Board!

Parents,

As I no longer receive The Herald, I was alerted to the article in last week's Herald that the School District is proposing to increase our taxes.  It seems appropriate to be present at the meetings that have been outlined in the Herald's article of 5/13/10.  http://www.yourfoxchapel.com/herald/article/school-district-tax-increase-expected

Those dates are:

A Public Information Session June 10 at 7 p.m. at the High School.

The Next School Board Meeting is on June 7 at Dorseyville Middle School.  Within the last month or so an Open Discussion was added for the hour prior to the regular 7 p.m. meeting, however, Dr. David McCommons, this past Tuesday in a meeting, said that that time was allotted for discussion of the grading change issue on which you were surveyed (see Edline).

The School Board will also be meeting June 14 at the High School at 7 p.m., and will vote June 21 in a special session at 7 p.m. (currently in the LGI room).

I hope you can make time in your schedules, particularly for the June 10th meeting, as I will not be able to attend that session.

Thank you,
Sandy Edgecombe
